HOME

On December 1st I arrived home to Alabama and was released from being a full time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. How grateful I am to have served and to be a different and better person today. My testimony has grown stronger and more importantly my relationship with Christ is greater and more familiar.

I want to thank my family for supporting me while I was gone. Also a big thank you for the many friends and connections that would reach out and send gifts and emails to me. A huge thank you to my mission president and his wife and to all the missionaries in Paraguay who are my family. Finally a even greater thank you to the people and members in Paraguay. A part of my heart will always belong to Paraguay.

Week 75

Haupei Yall!

SO this is a pretty crazy email...and the last one!!! Next week I will be traveling on Pday to Asuncion for my final interview and to leave...yikes. SO for that very reason this will be my last email on the mish!

Happy Things from THIS WEEK¨
1. We had divisions with the hermana lideres! Hermana Cardenas and I are leaving together so it was WAY COOL to do our last division together and just talk about the whole mish and everything we have learned.
2. We had pancakes in our district meeting this week that turned into a disaster...thats elders for ya!
3. We had an awesome noche de cine! lots of people, lots of love, lots of popcorn.
4. We have a new church schedule here! We start with the sacrament now at 830 in the morning and to all of our surprise a TON of people were there! The branch is also super pumped because we have a new branch president sooo lots of changes down here!

Happy things COMING UP this week!
1. 17 months and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
2. They announced it all official that the branch is having my despedida this week...its all anyone says hahaha not making me trunky at all.
3. I have my final interview coming up with Presidente then next week I am traveling home so si o si going to make every last second count!

Yall. The mission has been the biggest blessing for my life. I know that the gospel of jesus christ has been restored and is true! It is the best message to share with everyone because really and truly Jesus Christ is the fix! He has carried me every step of the way and I am so grateful that with him I can keep changing and growing! I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that we have a prophet today, Thomas S. Monson. I am so grateful for living prophets that are a HUGE blessing to us in this crazy world we live in. I know the Book of Mormon is SO true. It has changed my life and a ton of others that I have met down here. I have loved the mission and I wouldnt change anything for the world. Thank you for all yalls support and love while I have been down here! Paraguay will always have my heart.

xoxoxo,

Hermana Vergara
